blue Blue EyesUnderneath the midnight moon  she said she'd love me for all-time.  I held her close in my arms praying it wouldn't end,  but when she walked away, Lord I knew it had.   
She looked back and smiled,  one of those half-hearted tries.  But in the midnight dark, all I could see were her eyes.  Those beautiful blue, Blue eyes...   
I wanted to follow, but my feet wouldn't move  Because I knew she had to go...  So I just stood and stared and mouthed some words  "I love you. I miss you. Go, just go slow..."

I Miss YouIt's Saturday night and I'm thinking of you.  I'm no longer the person that you once knew.  So many things have changed, I can't think it through.  and I miss you.   
All my friends at the bar ask why I look so blue.  Heard that question so much, one I can't answer to.  But I'm seeing some things through a different view.  I miss you.   
The days keep coming on and on.  I don't know where I can turn,  But I know there's still that burn,  and I know that now you're gone.

jhucgfjkcghWell we sat at the bar.  Drinking double shots down.  When I hit that fourth shot  my grin lit up the town.  I shouted out loud to my friends on each side  this is what we'll be drinkin', if you're skurred run and hide!   
So I ordered up rounds of Jack D all around  And yelled "we're all hell and hangover bound!"  The first one was smooth, felt it tickle my neck  the second was fire and a woodpecker's peck.

Why I feel this way.I have no idea what to say to you.  I'm afraid if I tell you everything,  I'll be left with a blank stare of disgust and worry.  What if I tell you I love you?  That I can't stop thinking about you.  What you're doing, where you've been, if you're thinking of me too.  That I write my thoughts down and burn them after,  so that you'll never really know just what you mean to me.  I'm afraid of what it feels like to be free.  After all, worst case scenario, I never see you again.  It doesn't sound life threatening at first  but upon further review, I can't function without you.  So inst Why I feel this way.

went down to the corner store today
bought me some cigarettes and a bottle of JD
well i drank it up, i drank it down
hell i was swimmin' in it, i thought i'd nearly drowned
